Eagle River in Arrowhead

Nestled between Edwards and Avon, Arrowhead provides residents the unique opportunity for some of the most exclusive catch and release fishing on the pristine Eagle River. Spanning from the Riverbend Community access point to the bridge to the west, this peaceful oasis is available to Arrowhead residents at any time and a limited number of members of the general public, providing access to world-class fly fishing. To the right you can find a map of the area which includes the Arrowhead Fishing Rules, Access and Regulations.  These maps are also available at the Main Gatehouse

Individuals wishing to fish must have a Colorado state fishing license. Arrowhead property owners and the general public must check in with Public Safety and obtain a “fishing badge” prior to entering the river. Owners may keep their “fishing badge” for the entire season. All fishing for the general public is by reservation only.

Riverdance Ponds

Available exclusively to Arrowhead homeowners, the Riverdance Ponds, conveniently located in the Riverdance neighborhood and right next to the River Access, are ponds stocked for catch-and-release fishing. It’s the perfect oasis to teach the kids to fish, enjoy the peaceful pond environment with a picnic, or get your fishing fix. The ponds are typically stocked with a variety of trout, most notably, Rainbow trout.
